This site is testing my sanity!!! Yeah, it's still wicked slow, to the point I can 't read stuff or post without W A I T I N G ...Now I'm getting e-mails that I'm subscribed to threads I never wanted this , then when I try to unsubscribe it won't let me?!

I had NO problems when the site was the old way...this new format is just keeping me out.

I really didn't change anything (code wise) that would of effected loading of this site. I recall changing some table widths, colors, and stuff in the style template but nothing on how this forum loads/runs I did add the random photo link but that is ONLY on the main page and does not effect subsequent pages (threads, reply page, thread edit, etc).

As for thread subscription I was getting e-mail bounced back as the e-mail tied to your user account went dead. I contacted you a few days ago for the latest e-mail address which you gave me, and I updated your account. Since the e-mail is valid you are getting e-mails for thread subscriptions. This can be turned off in your USER CP. See this FAQ help section for more details:

John's PC is also slow but its slow for EVERY site not just ours. Is our site the ONLY forum/site that is slow for you?????????

I try to keep this forum board software simple so future upgrades are kept simple. We are running the latest version (but I'll check again after I post this response) of this software and its pretty much unhacked.

Again, if there is anything I can do to help let me know.

PS - I turned off thread subscription for you.

I ran a speed test up to a NYC server and that is fine.

If anyone else is having a slowdown issue please let me know.

We were on 3.7.3 of forum software so I installed the latest version 3.7.4. Doubt it will change anything but let me know either way.

I think its Ratty site works fine on all of my pc's and i run the gambit at work i use a
scion dual quad core 4 gig of ram and home a dell 8200 and 8250 with 512 ram.
Ratty you probably have adware or other pest in your system call a geek to help you out bud.
