Older Tins?

I came across a box of Bud's, Ed's and Howie's Tins most are single fixed hooks with some tremble hooks, all different weights and lengths. My question is are these good tins to use today, also have some old plugs that I rehooked and work like a charm. I am new to plugging so please bear with me, thanks

As far as fish catching ability, They are just as good today as they were back then. Now is the time to throw them, when the sand eels are here.
Polish them up and give them a try, just make sure the hooks are still in good shape and will hold a good fish, thats the only downside. Once that fixed hook goes bad, it cant be changed out. But the tin has value and you can melt it down .Definitely Dont throw them away.
